2011 Dodge Durango R/T
After a two year absence the Dodge Durango is back and better than ever. Even though the dimensions are nearly identical to the previous generation Durango, the SUV has had a complete overhaul. Instead of a body-on-frame setup it now shares a unibody platform with the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Even though the Jeep and Dodge have similar suspension layouts they still vary quit a bit. The Dodge is 10 inches longer than the Jeep and has 5 extra inches between it's axles. The shocks and springs are also stiffer and it has beefier roll bars.....
2011 Lexus IS250 AWD Review
The Lexus IS 250 has been slightly redesigned for 2011 with some minor exterior changes. The front bumper and grill have some works done as well as the Foglight area. The new IS250 also has new tail lights and exhaust tips. The biggest change is the pair of LED eyelids that are at the bottom of the headlamps and it gives the IS a little bit of pizazz in an other wise plain car. The 2011 IS250 is also available in all-wheel drive.
Don't get me wrong the IS250 looks good....just like every other car Lexus makes. But it also lacks something that pretty much every Lexus ever made does....
2011 Chrysler 300C first impressions
The 2011 Chrysler 300 is a completely overworked car and shares very little with the original 300C that was introduced 6 years ago. Chrysler has taken lots of feedback from its customers and also stepped up their game when it comes to their competitors.
The original 300C that hit the streets as a 2005 model, looked cool from the outside (if you don't mind the striking resemblance to a Bentley....) but the inside was very bland and the base engines were pretty weak.Well thankfully Chrysler has corrected a lot of these problems. The 2011 300C comes with a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
2012 Volkswagen Golf R
The Golf R also has some design tweaks to make it look more aggressive than the standard Golf models. It now sports large blacked-out intakes and a lower front fascia. Bi-xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lights also clean up the look. The Golf R sits on 18-inch 5-spoke alloy rims and sits a half-inch lower than the stock Golf.
The twin exhausts and upgraded brakes with blacked-out calipers let us know that this isn't your everyday Golf. The interior has also been upgraded. The leather-trimmed sport steering wheel has a flat bottom like most race cars do. The bolstered sports seats are aggressive but they get the job down.
The 2012 Aston Martin Virage Delivers
The Aston Martin Virage brings back memories from the early 90’s where Aston previously used the Virage name on one of its many classics. Though the Virage name is used again, this new model occupies an entirely different spot in the Aston Martin lineup, no longer considered as the company’s top model.
Having had the opportunity to sample the new 2012 Virage, the automotive press is giving unanimous thumbs up on this striking vehicle. As covered in one of our previous articles, the Virage is a very interesting niche model, filling the void between the DB9 and the DBS.
